When I first bought this litter I can honestly say I didn't have high expectations, just high hopes. And let me tell you. My teenager cleaned the tray the day before Thanksgiving just before we left for a few days. When we got home on Saturday night it didn't smell at all. No one. So I decided to do an experiment that I have never tried before and will never repeat. I decided to see how long I could go without cleaning the box before the smell was detected. Tonight. I didn't have to clean it until the evening. To put it bluntly, that's exactly TWO WEEKS of cat poop that hasn't given off any noticeable odor! And also. There is more greatness in this story. it wasn't garbage that smelled. It was poop that my cat pooped right out of the box because the box was full. Of course I cleaned it out right away and took the palace outside to clean it, expecting that I would have to throw out everything that was inside, but. When I opened the box to clean, I was expecting a horrible smell of ammonia. and all evil, but you know what? THERE IS NO SMELL YET! AND ALSO! There was no feces or urine on the walls of the box itself. ANNNND! The grains are so small that they can be easily sieved through the scoop and no residue is left on the scoop, really zero. Ouch. And thanks to the efficient clumping ability, there was still more than enough clean fill so I didn't have to throw out all that kit and nonsense! a few days without cleaning the poop palace again for the sake of the cat's health, but damn it! This litter is by far the best product I have found for indoor cats! I will probably never risk trying another brand again!
