I used to have a Kensun blower. I bought it here 3.5 years ago. Kensun saved my ass on the road last year. However, yesterday I tried to fill up 10 tires with it (2 cars, 1 spare each). "Melted" when pumping up the seventh tire. Almost literally. It grew hot, then stopped, giving off an acrid smell of burning. And never turned on again. So back to the drawing board. I understand it. I'm heading out on my annual 500 mile migration to my summer residence in a few weeks, so thought I'd give it a try to see if it worked. I inflated the remaining 3.5 tires and 2 bicycle tires. It worked. He didn't faint; Catch fire; or even (strongly) heat it. I thought it was AC/DC, well I guess I should have been more careful. For the price I should have known. Kensun was AC/DC and cost >70 USD. I hope it's not needed for anything other than "refueling". A few notes: • The power cord is good and long. Notch on back • Accuracy seems a little off. EXAMPLE: I set it to inflate the spare tire (donut) to 55 and it stopped at 50. The meter even says 50! (as well as my offline pressure gauge). • Cable is perfectly tucked away at the bottom. • It comes with ball adapters, but the compartment on the bottom doesn't have a lid so there's nowhere to store them. (keep the box it comes in)
