These socks compress well but don't go high enough. I ordered the gray ones and they end up just below my calf. They do NOT reach my knees. Medipeds at Walmart come up to my knees, which prevents them from rolling down. They're tighter than Medipeds, making them more comfortable to compress but more uncomfortable on my calves. And I washed them in cold water and line dried them before putting them on. So it's not like they went under. I wore a pair to work tonight. I brought the other two and gave them away. I am 5 feet 7 inches tall. Maybe they will fit someone with shorter legs?
