Review on ✏️ Sharpener for School Stationery, Pencil Gift by Kristen Reid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazing little product

I rarely write Revain reviews because I think most of them are fakes planted by sellers as dishonest marketing. In this case I'm making an exception because this little pencil sharpener far exceeded my expectations and the price I paid for it. It works great and adds sharpness to every pencil I've tried in it: regular graphite school pencils (good quality yellow hexes and cheap novelty round pencils), children's wax crayons, and two different types of high-strength pencils. the end of the artist's watercolor pencils. It has a double spiral blade like the old manual sharpeners that used to be found in every public school. As other reviewers have noted, it doesn't have a suction cup base, but that's not an issue as you don't have to hold the pencil you're sharpening. That's the genius of this product. You simply gently insert the pencil until the blades "grab" it, then twist it with one hand while holding the device with the other hand. After 4-5 slight turns, there is no more friction and you need to turn it counterclockwise once to loosen the pin. My two younger children use it with no problems. If for some reason you're dying to attach it to your countertop, any woodworking clamp or cheap C-clamp you have will do the job. It easily costs 2, 3, or 4 times the price of $4 and does a better job than electric and manual sharpeners, which cost a lot more.
