The best after sharp knives

Love this thing! Throw away the knife steel, it's garbage. Once your knife's bevels are ground at an angle to the carbides, it only takes three or four strokes to mince ripe tomatoes and slice them into very thin slices with ease. Obviously not for major reshaping or removing large dents. And it ends up with a little ripple on the bevel, but as long as you change the speed at which you pull the sharpener it's negligible. Professional sharpening is definitely better, but who wants to sharpen their knives every week or two? And don't be afraid. Holding the knife upside down may seem dangerous when you first use it, but it's very easy to use and pretty much foolproof. And if you don't like my ancient rusty KA-BAR, keep it to yourself. High carbon steel is Shiznite.
