I compared 3 similar portable speakers (same price around $100 each): JBL Flip 4 - best sound quality of 3 (amazing quality - very similar to Bose Soundlink Mini) - no noticeable crackling at max volume with high treble in music - Strongest/deepest bass (my desk wobbled at max volume) - Very loud max volumeUltimate Ears WONDERBOOM - Less than JBL 4 but more than Bose Micro - Crackling at max volume on some songs at high volume Treble (not expected) - Bass not that strong (very weak bass) - Very loud max volume (similar to JBL 4) Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth - Smallest of 3 - Max sound was 75% more than JBL 4/Ultimate ears - The sound is "muffled" and fuzzy (the quality isn't even close to the Bose Soundlink Mini) - open the charging plug and (is it really watery ot?) Overall I would go with the durability of the JBL (amazing quality and very similar to the Bose Soundlink Mini but waterproof!) (75% the size of the JBL 4). The Bose Micro, while very small, had very poor sound quality for the price (most disappointing).
