The instructions were decent and all the parts were labeled and labeled with letters or numbers. It took me about 1.25 hours to unpack and assemble. Although it was fairly easy to assemble alone, a helper would have saved time. I like the look of the assembled frame. Every detail was beautifully finished. The parts are made of steel and the assembled frame is strong. There is no creaking, even if you deliberately try to shake and move on the mattress. On the negative side, my mattress (gel memory foam) slides too easily from side to side on the frame as there are no side rails to keep the mattress centered. However, there is a headboard and bottom rail to prevent the mattress from sliding up and down. This may not be the cheapest bed frame you can find, but if you are looking for a frame that is strong, reliable, high quality and good looking then this is it.
