Review on Riedel Ouverture Wine Glass Set - 12 Count, for Red, White, and Champagne by Drew Poulin

Decent size, good clarity, fits in most cupboards and makes a good everyday wine glass. However, these glasses CANNOT be cleaned in the dishwasher. I just removed a broken glass from the top shelf of the Bosch dishwasher that broke on its own, nothing else touched the glass. This is the third of these glasses to break in the dishwasher. There are two important messages here. #1 is obvious - hand wash these glasses, dry them and put them back in your wine glass cabinet immediately after use, unless you want to buy a second set before you like them. I will do so as soon as I am done writing this review. #2 - Immediately clean the dishwasher's main filter screen and then CAREFULLY inspect the bottom of the drain with your fingers, as there is always a tiny piece of glass that gets caught in the dishwasher's outlet pump, causing the dishwasher to not drain. and requires disassembly of the secondary filter assembly in the dishwasher OR a $150 support call. I chose the former and bought new glasses with my savings.
