Don't hold the wire long enough and too long to tie the rod
They don't provide a good grip on the wire. The wire dangles inside, twists and appears to break free. The rubber bushing is not seated properly, is too soft and pops out when tightened. Read reviews, follow instructions, watch videos, etc.; but had to send it back. The contact portion is also too long to fit either side of the connector pins. Sewell Silverbacks have this problem too and it's a shame as I really like the design. I will be using Sewell deadbolts. Hold the wire and the contact potion is shorter and provides ample contact when used on either side of the wand.
