Review on 🐠 Enhance Aquarium Filtration with QANVEE Fluidized Moving Bed Filter Bubble Bio Media Reactor featuring Air Stone and Sponge Filter by Monica Williams

Cheap Ziss clone. I only bought this because Ziss is too expensive. The top has a friction fit and is easier to open than Ziss, with less chance of spilling media when removing the lid. It comes with 2 sponge filters (one spare). The main body is thinner plastic but definitely strong enough to last forever. This kit does not come with the check valve or flow valve that Ziss has but these cost less and if you already have these items then why pay for something you don't need. I would rate it 5 stars except that the media that comes with it is of poor quality (which is to be expected at this price point) but not enough. I had some K1 Micro that I added to bring the media level to 3/4. Adding as much media as possible while leaving enough room for fluidization improves efficiency and makes the filter more efficient by increasing the surface area for beneficial bacteria to grow on. At this point the filter is working as expected. Overall a great product and looks good in the tank, better than a plastic bottle hanging in the tank.
