Ephemeral. Bought 2, both defective. Broke after only a year of minimal use. I thought it was my phone as both didn't work without playing with the connection. Then I dropped my phone and had to replace it. Same problem with new phone. It keeps disconnecting and you have to play with the connection. It doesn't even work when the phone is on the charger. Nothing has moved and it turns off. You'll have to wiggle the cable until the connector is plugged in and repeat. Save money, buy another.
