Review on ⚡ Enhanced 4.5uf + 6uf + 5uf 5-Wire Ceiling Fan Capacitor CBB61, 250V by Daniel Shivashankar

I did not receive NEW as advertised. The body of the capacitor was pitted with scratches, as if it had been rubbed against a rough surface, and on a pair of wires, gray and red, the copper was quite twisted, as if attached to and removed from some kind of wire. Wire nuts are already needed. I needed this to replace a bad 4.5 microfarad cap on my ceiling fan. I tested this new cap and it read 4.27 microfarads, accurate to within a +-5% tolerance. I'm not happy with all of this, I tested it and after connecting it to my fan it seems to be working properly. As I don't think it makes sense to return this part, especially considering the current exposure to the Corona virus, I will use it and take a risk. However, as an aside, this is not the case when it should have been sold as new, with signs of use. Electronics and electronic components can easily be damaged by humans and returned, posing an additional risk to the next consumer when presented new as working. and may not have your safety and interests in mind. Only rated 2 stars because it bothers me that I'm being sold a used product.
