I ordered two sizes of this dress as I wasn't sure if it would fit. My daughter is 8 1/2 but slim and skinny, 50 pounds, 52 inches tall. I ordered 6/7 and 8/9. Size 6/7 fits much better as like the others above the dress is quite roomy. Called. It will still be a little loose on her, but 8/9 is definitely too big. The length gets a little shorter at 6/7, but not really bad. It's very strange, fabric on 6/7 is much better than 8/9. 8/9 is very thin and weak, although the exact pressure is the same. 6/7 looks much nicer so I'm not sure about the consistency of the quality of the product. I am 6/7 satisfied although my daughter loves it too!
