This is a sharpening stone that is much easier to use than a wet stone (the beauty of English homonyms!?). You don't need to soak it for 5-10 minutes and let it dry for 48 hours after use. With a thorough splash of water and a quick clean afterwards, it's ready to go. The best news is that it sharpens quickly and well when one sharpening isn't enough.
