I bought the set at a reduced price from Revain. Everything was intact and functional. Light stands and background stands are very light. I used my sandbags (not included) to make sure the backdrop didn't wobble when we went over the extended canvas backdrop (not included) that I used. The lamp stand holding the arrow and lantern seemed to be struggling a bit to stay upright so I didn't extend the lamp stand all the way and used my sandbags to make sure we didn't knock it over. I am very excited about the lights. You are the star of the set. I was able to photograph a clothed mannequin at ISO 1000, 1/80 sec, f8.0 with all lights at full power about 4-5 feet from the mannequin. I would only take photos with my flashes, but I also need to record videos. Everything looked fine with daylight white balance. The disappointment was the white, black, and green background. It's not muslin, it's textured vinyl. Ironing out the creases is almost impossible due to the type of packaging. I let them hang without any changes for a few days before shooting. Spraying them with water to let the heat in the room and gravity do their thing didn't work. Steaming colored background. Touching part of the background with a hot iron melted the plastic (I wasn't trying to iron, I was steaming and I accidentally touched it). If you can find a cheaper kit without a background, consider this one instead, and then buy better backgrounds separately.
