My husband likes to wear these shoes at home. He says they're cool, light weight and VERY comfortable. He doesn't have to wear socks because they let a lot of air through. So if he just wants to wear them to walk the dogs or water the plants, it will be quick and easy. He doesn't have to tie them and they are very stretchy to fit different widths (he has a wide foot and they stretch to fit them without putting pressure on the sides of his foot). They are suitable for TTS (he is 12 and these are spot on). He just pulls on the ends to tighten them if they're a little loose. They're not trainers or hiking shoes, but they're great for everyday use around the house (and the thorns of our bushes don't bite his feet because they have fairly strong soles) and he wears them when we ride bikes. Pool for doing laps because they work in the pool and for the occasional outing (he used to wear running shoes and lugged around his pool shoes but they do both). He would definitely recommend them for everyday use. He has pretty flat feet and they're quite supportive (I have high arches and I feel like they need arch support for me, but they're also huge for me so that might be an issue. I'd say so if though If you have high arches, they may lack support). He wouldn't run or hike in them, but he loves wearing them around the house. I also washed them and they worked great (in cold water and let them air dry). I would order another pair without hesitation. Thank you for reading. I hope this helped.
