My preschool daughter can only wear closed shoes with closed sides and no boots. It basically forces us to wear tennis shoes or Tom's style. We love Mary Janes so this is a great compromise. Pros: - Machine washable when insoles are removed - Go to size (can get a printable size chart from Cienta website) - Easy for kids to dress themselves Cons: Shiny/metallic colors will "fuzzy" or roll easy on toes (No problem with canvas colors) Overall conclusion: great shoes, very comfortable and highly recommended!
