Hello, I have been using these 'pass through' RJ45 connectors along with a crimping tool for a number of years. It's worth the extra cost. I rarely have bad creampies. This really saves time as you don't have to cut the strands before inserting them into the connector. It also makes it very easy to get a clean, beautiful joint every time. The only thing I don't like is that there is no clear distinction between Cat5e and Cat6 connectors. That said, I accidentally mixed them up and it's now impossible to tell them apart unless you connect a Cat6 cable to a Cat5e cable. It would be nice if they had some markings.
