Impressed with the quality right out of the box. Be sure to measure your child's foot with a tape measure! Your size chart is accurate and includes actual foot measurement. I'm so glad I measured because I had to go half a size larger than my street shoes, but they are perfect for what I expected (and boots tend to run small). My 7 year old son said they were very comfortable. The water resistance has yet to be tested, but so far so good.
