Bought 3 cables, not working

4K DisplayPort Cable 15ft, Adoreen 4K DP 1.2 Cable (1.5 to 50ft) 4K@60Hz 2K@165Hz I bought 3 for 165Hz 2K monitors and none of the cables worked Not. Swapped the cables to see if it was a cable issue and not. Then I connected a 1080p monitor and got a signal. Cables do not work with 2k monitors (3 different monitors "asus, acer and benq") at 165Hz.
