Review on Synology M 2 Adapter Card M2D18 by Tsuyoshi Tendencies

This has had a very positive impact on the performance of my Synology configured with SHR2 5 drives and using 2nVME as read/write cache for a BTRFS volume. Is it worth the money, well I would say it totally depends on your usage, if you have a small office with thousands of files or photos then yes it is possible that over time if they are cached will see a noticeable improvement, but if you're only storing large media, you most likely won't see any difference except when copying/downloading to a NAS device.
