Review on SRAM Brake Lever Blade Aluminum by Joseph Harkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Brake Lever Blade Replacement SRAM Code R

This was exactly what I needed (and need again after another crash). You will need a very small #8 Torx to remove the arm pivot bushing (it took me a while to figure this out). In this case, the blade can simply be removed and replaced with a new one. Once you have it assembled you will need to bleed the brakes with DOT 5.1. The actual lever change went quickly. When I realized I didn't have the right size torx and had to run to the Home Depot late at night to get one, it took longer.
