Very nice packaging, strong and quality parts. The device itself and remote control hold a charge long enough for multiple workouts before needing to be recharged. I started vibration, I think I started at 8 and then got to 11. I have a 2 year old Golden Retriever who "gets it all" and is beyond stubborn when it comes to obedience. When he has to, or does what he wants to do! Lol so I have high hopes of using this device to encourage better obedience! When I first used it (it wasn't until the 8th vibration again) it was funny how it was trying to figure out where that hum was coming from 😂. But once he realized that if he obeyed, a command and a treat would follow him, he quickly connected and began to please! He settled in really quickly! When we ran out of goodies and switched to praise, he was just as happy to play this game 👍🏽. The second time around he was less interested in that little noise so I turned it up to 11 (on a scale of 1-99) - and YES I TRYED IT ON MYSELF AND IT'S ONLY A LITTLE SMALL VIBRATION, even on bare skin! I think the 11th suited him better and he did a great job with the heel, stop and cum! The third time was adorable. And then I decided, let's try a walk. Hahaha yes. we are not there yet! 😂 This stubborn boy acts like a BOY all day and thinks he HAS to pull the leash his whole body 🤦🏻‍♀️. He's great off the leash! At some point during our walk we were determined to get somewhere faster than I could walk, we stopped, reset the mood of the walk and kept trying a high. No, his desires outweighed this rumble. then I tried the shock set on 6 (again, down from 99) and it seemed to make it more determined - almost a jab! So switched back to vibration and probably stopped using static as that was his reaction! So we have a lot of work to do! Lol But I think with this little gem of a trainer and patience and diligence on my part we will prevail! It really changed their "listening" skills and I think it's the perfect learning tool to help them understand and push a little. We all learn differently than humans and all of my puppies throughout my life have learned differently too, I think this guy just responds better to light physical interaction! If your pup is like this, I would highly recommend him!
