Overview: **Meteor Shower Lights, ZALALOVA Rainfall Lights 19.7 Inch, 14 Tubes, 672 LEDs, Christmas Street Lights, Icicle Strings, Lights in the form of raindrops for a Christmas party. Thanksgiving Garden Christmas Decor (White) **First of all, I am very familiar with this type of meteor or rain lights and have been using them in my Christmas decorations for at least five years. I have tested and/or used at least 7 or 8 different brands, types and colors of these lights and my current outdoor display has about 80 of these tubes hanging on cords from the trees in my front yard (see lines you can see in these can see photos, completely invisible at night). This set of meteor lights from ZALALOVA is mediocre at best. The hoses are very thin plastic, much thinner than most other brands I've used. The length is good - they are longer tubes (about 20 inches) with more bulbs on each strip than regular sized tubes which are about 12 inches long. But there are two main issues I have with this set: 1) The overall brightness is lower than others. I have compared these tubes to other tubes and you can see for yourself in some of the photos I have attached night, with four tubes lit, shows these Zalalov tubes in the centre. You can clearly see that they are not as bright as the others and are slightly more yellow (or warmer) than the others. In person it's more obvious. And in fact, I really thought they were broken when I first compared them to other kits. After playing around with them further, I found that I had replaced the power converter (6v output block) that came with this kit with others Replaced converters I had on hand (7V out) this improved the brightness significantly. But even at the same voltage these lights are less bright than n others. 2) In the circuitry of these lights the LEDs are grouped in groups of four. So when the light sequence is running, you have 4 LEDs going on at the same time, then going off, resulting in a "massive" flow of light through the tube. My other meteor lights are designed to light up each individual LED separately, creating a much smoother visual effect. Given the shortcomings of this lighting kit and the availability of much better kits at a similar or lower price I cannot give them more than two stars. . Personally I would not buy these lamps at this price point or even at a much lower price point.
