Life Changer: Collars, Harnesses and Leashes

This has changed our lives a lot! I have had my dog (American bulldog) that was given to me for 4 weeks. Now he is 2 1/2 years old. He's the craziest, most stubborn dog I've ever had in my life! I spent $2,000 on vocational training. This included dropping him off at the trainers and one on one sessions with me (two different packages totaling over 6 months). I agree to the home workout. Seriously, nothing happened. Sometimes we felt like being held hostage by a dog. If I have a collection at home, I have to take it to the pension. With this collar we reclaim our lives! It's a different dog! My only complaint is that the device on the collar turns itself off if I haven't used the remote for a while. This is supposed to be done to save battery power, but it doesn't "wake up" on its own. I have to press the button on the collar to wake him up. Even if it's still flashing green. I charge it every three days but will start charging every two days. I noticed that it can be released before the end of the third day. Usually one beep is enough. I used to use a pair of bark collars that beeped and shocked on their own. So the beep is familiar to him. He would always take them off and break the collar, rendering them useless. I chose this model because it is a collar that does not close. It fits like a belt, with holes. I don't allow anyone in my house to use the remote control. Even my husband (who doesn't like my dog). It is easy to use and clearly shows you whether the beep, vibration or shock is activated. My husband even admitted he is much better now and could love a dog lol. I had a dog before I met him and my dogs' behavior was a point of contention for us (there are many!). And finally there is a silicone cover on the ladders. This makes the dog feel more comfortable. This was not the case with the last two collars. Just metal right on the dog. My dog wears this collar all day and I take it off at night (he sleeps in a large cage). It doesn't seem to bother him. The maximum value I've used is 15. The vibration is set to 20 but to be honest the vibration doesn't affect my dog at all.
