Do They Work? Why 3 stars? I will tell you. I bought two of these filters from petco when I got my turtle. A few months after the Calcium chunks started making a very loud noise, I apparently ordered new ones from Amazon. I tuned them only to find that the new ones were louder than the old ones! So I thought obviously there must be something wrong with it. A replacement pair of filters arrived the next day (thanks), connected the new ones for 30 minutes, long enough to bag up the old ones and take them to UPS, I get home and they make a loud noise. noisy like the ones i returned if not louder. Whisper technology says on the packaging. In my experience, this product deserves three stars. just because it works
