I love these. I have one for each dog. Every morning we walk in the countryside where it is dark at this time. This makes us visible to passing cars. I had those three months and maybe calculated them twice. However, they dim before they go out, so you'll know when it's time to charge them up. UPDATE: I've had collars for about 7 months and one of them stopped working. I'm not sure what their life expectancy is, but I would hope to get at least a year or two. We used them in the mornings five times a week. Update 2: I bought 2 of these less than a year ago and now the second one doesn't work anymore. I got probably 10 months use from the second one. I used them 5 days a week for running with my dogs and charged them about once a week. Each of them lights up an indicator that they're charging when I plug them in, but they stop working as soon as I unplug and plug them back in. One only works for a second until I release the button, the other only works when plugged in. Disabled, he's dead. They were great, but unfortunately they didn't last long. I think I'll buy the cheaper ones because they're essentially disposable. I believe the replacement I bought was only $6. I lowered my rating to one star to see if I can get the sellers attention as there is no link to contact them for a possible replacement. But overall I would really give 3 stars = it's ok.
