Review on πŸ”ͺ 4.5" D115mm Super Thin Diamond Ceramic Saw Blade - Superior Cutting Tool for Ceramic and Porcelain Tiles by Bob Fasho

Revainrating 5 out of 5

. The blade has been around for a long time and I'm very happy with it

I've been using this blade for quite some time now and I'm very happy with it. I used to have Turquoise (another brand that used to be the best) but it started cracking. So far this blade has been perfect, cutting through everything I've tried from porcelain to concrete. I've been using 4 inch dry cut blades since they first started making them in the early 80's. One thing to be careful about is using thin blades for shaping and profiling. This action wears out one side of the blade more than the other. others cause more heat and uneven wear. This can lead to cracks and eventually breakage of the blade. I NEVER recommend using a grinder without a guard. I saw one fall apart and chips hit a piece of wood. nearby. It's always a good idea to visually inspect the disc before and after each use. I'll update this review as needed, but so far I'm quite happy and have been using dry diamond blades almost every day since the 80's. .Rick, tiler with 38 years experience. UPDATE: After my initial check I had 3 more cracks and it wasn't due to uneven wear. While I like these blades, I thought I should adjust my feedback. I hope the manufacturer will add this problem ss.
