Read MANY reviews. I had concerns about the size and fit. However, it fits perfectly! For those who complain that it's too long, this is a maxi dress. Google them. They are long and touch the ground. If you don't want a dress that long, don't buy it. BUT stop complaining in your reviews about what is made the way it should be. If your girl is taller, they will be shorter. My 8 year old is average. I bought 8/9 and as you can see in the picture it fits well. It has plenty of stretch so she can wear it for several years (but loses some of the "maxi" length). My daughter is hypersensitive to tags, stitching, materials and fabrics. She had no problem with that. She asked me to buy more different colors. I couldn't have asked for a better dress for the price. Remember you are not paying big bucks for this dress so it will not be Matilda Jane or expensive boutique dresses. But for the price and how fast kids grow up, it's worth buying.
