Review on Stainless Steel OE Type Thermostat by Stant by Tyrone Lyons

When towing a truck, I found that towing heavy loads or headwinds for a period of time would quickly overwhelm the cooling system. I installed it and wasn't too thrilled at first. This thermostat first opened at 185 degrees and didn't show much promise. On a recent trip where I hauled a heavy load for about 40 hours in less than a week, this thing definitely made a world of difference. I had already installed an upgraded water pump from newer trucks, and throughout the trip the highest temp I saw was 210. more that he was in Kansas, a notch up, with a headwind.
