I've noticed that I don't like the microfiber. It was not clear from the description that this sheet was microfiber. Also, it's not about safety. The edges don't tuck in securely even though my mattress is 11 inches deep. It's soft and looks well made. That might be fine on a foam mattress, but it's not good enough on a regular 11-inch mattress. The product is ok but I wouldn't order it unless you have a foam mattress that is about 10 inches deep.
