Review on Childrens Place Girls Sleeve Ireland by Mario Portillo

I bought the girls short sleeve top from The Children's Place in Ireland for my daughter who is a size XXL (16) and although the top itself is cute and well tailored the sizing does vary. First, the size is smaller than other XXL tops my daughter has worn in the past. The bodice hugged her chest and stomach, and the sleeves were tight too. She also found the length was shorter than she would have preferred and the hem was just above her navel. On the plus side, the quality of the top is excellent - the fabric is soft and pleasant to the touch, the seams are sewn well, the print is bright and cheerful. The top also tolerates washing well, does not lint and does not shrink. Whilst appreciating the quality of the top I cannot give more than 3 stars overall as it is true to size. If you are considering purchasing this top I would recommend ordering one size up to ensure a comfortable and beautiful fit.
