Review on Kapoosh Batonnet Knife Block Woodgrain by Gordie Johnson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works more or less as advertised but with limitations

Works as intended but I'm not entirely happy with these points: 1. Doesn't fully accommodate knives from 8 inches and up. About 1/2 inch of the blade is sticking out of the black material. Maybe it was mentioned in the product description before I bought it and I missed it. However, it looks like 8-inch knives will be required. 2. Doesn't work well in a base cabinet situation. All Kapoosh products have a steep angle. A sufficiently experienced and dedicated person can form a support base. This would reduce the angle and not cause stability issues, but it takes a lot of work unless you fully commit to that particular product (a less skilled person can still make an inclined base, but then stability becomes an issue). .He wants to fall forward.) If you have an open tabletop and nothing above that probably won't be a problem for you, but that's not what I really want.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as written
