At one time, I chose a width for myself, and I also looked at this tamron, then it just appeared (about 1.5 years ago). I did not choose it, but it is one thing to choose, another to use. I got the opportunity to use it only recently, I used it for a week . There is only one conclusion - I understand that many people need a width, and the original from Canon is not cheap, on average 10more expensive than a tamron . But believe me, you should not buy this glass . Eslayers compared with Canon 10-22. then it is so unsharp that you generally wonder how they can shoot! At 3,5 - this is generally abracadabra . Canon is working on the declared ranges . I understand that canon is expensive, but you can search and find sigma (it's cheaper) and a little worse than canon. Wait and take the canon. This glass only shoots on a closed hole . Strongly closed . Of course, not at 13, as some have written, but a little less. Taking it off hand in this situation simply will not work in 70% of cases . This raises the question - why is it needed at all then. If you are shooting from a tripod, and you really, really, really want to be wide, and the budget is tight, then only then can you take this glass. To be honest, I went the other way. The budget did not initially allow taking Canon, waited, chose and among all the widths (tamron, sigma, canon) chose canon. I didn’t get to Tokina, they say it’s also good. Well, the design of the tamron is average on all lenses, but this is not the biggest problem with this glass . The problem, in fact, is in the glasses themselves.
