I bought this bag to take with me on my 6 month trip to Europe and Southeast Asia. I was happy when it arrived because it's a nice colour, a good size and, in addition to being functional, it's also fashionable. However, I took it on a trip and the other day the strap completely detached from the body of the bag. It got caught on something and I pulled on it a little (much less than someone trying to steal my bag could pull) and the strap came loose from my body. Tell me, what's the point of threading the wire through the strap if the strap comes off the bag with a little tug? Luckily, I found a shop that helped me secure it with a zip tie (see, I'm a little pissed that a bag I bought specifically for its sturdy construction fell apart in the first week of my six-month trip is, and now I'm stuck with it.
