One of my dogs kept barking when the guests left. I would have to keep it closed in the bedroom to be able to talk to another person. I have tried many training tactics to solve this problem without success. That changed the rules of the game! The sound breaks her pattern, and after the first few minutes of someone's presence, I don't need it anymore. This greatly improved everyone's experience, and now she actually prefers to hang out quietly with guests. My only warning is that you might forget you left it on and make other loud noises that aren't your dog's fault. I did this multiple times and felt absolutely horrible when I realized what was going on. I'm more aware now so hopefully I won't do it again. If a company is looking for additional features to enable, a disable timer would be useful for idiots like me.
