We included 4 bottles of wine in our checked baggage and they all made the journey fine. We brought a bottle of tequila and the bottle leaked a little in the bottle protector but stayed in the double zip container. Although there is a thin double layer of pouch or bubble wrap inside, we've done our best to protect and cushion bottle protectors with plenty of clothing around them. Make sure your bottles fit in both bladder pockets and not between the inner and outer layers. In general, I am very satisfied with the performance. We bought 4 packs and took 4 bottles of wine and they all arrived safe and sound. I highly recommend it, but put the bottles carefully in your suitcase anyway. If you've seen your luggage being handled and thrown around, you want to make sure the bottles are secure and not bouncing around in your luggage. Don't put them in your hand luggage!
