Review on 🔥 Rock Tamers RT230: Black Standard Heat Shield for Better Engine Optimization by Paul Wilson

Heat shield installed as recommended to block heat flow from exhaust pipe. Much like at least one other customer reported, all he did was transfer heat to the mounting hardware, which eventually melted the valve causing the heat shield to fall off somewhere during our trip. The first photo of the deformed heat shield was taken about 400 miles away. The second photo, which shows nothing but four holes where the heat shield used to be, was taken a total of about 800 miles, so it lasted less than a thousand miles. This was on a 2019 Duramax diesel. Waste of money and installation time.
