These are simple Christmas lights, same shape and brightness as all the others. The only thing that should influence your purchasing decision is their reliability. *THIS IS NOT RELIABLE* I was going to put them on this year and all four threads had a quarter of the thread not catching fire. I spent some time replacing each bulb with a spare bulb and eventually one of the filaments would *mostly* light up, but half a dozen bulbs still didn't work. Meanwhile, I bought a couple of lamps at an orange hardware store a year earlier. , and *all* those lights still work.
