Review on 🎧 3 Pairs of Black EarBuddyz 2.0 Ear Hooks and Covers for Apple AirPods 1 & 2, EarPods Headphones, Earphones, Earbuds by Chad Siofele

When the "Original" EarBuddyz 2.0 came out, they were amazing! But when this version arrived with huge cutouts, I immediately noticed a drop in quality. The first design had holes for ear sensors, two "hooks" and more durable silicone. The new version has huge cutouts, only one "hook" and much softer silicone. This means that the previous version not only held/secured the AirPods better, but also made the AirPods less likely to fall out of your ears. This is where softer silicone comes into play in the new version. become less tight and slip on AirPods the more you use them. I don't expect them to keep their original shape but they came in a pack of three so getting a new pair wasn't a big deal. The new silicone out of the box is just as soft (if not softer) than the used version of the old ones. Combined with the fact that the new version uses less material, it's already slippery and bothers me when I'm out. The build quality also leaves a lot to be desired - all six buds (3 pairs) have mismatched cutouts. Some of them are hard, some are very soft, and I broke one because the ear sensor was too big. Having two ear hooks in the old version was fantastic because they offered more grip and held the ear in place. Now with one hook instead of two, and remember the silicone is a lot more brittle, it's just a complete failure for what was once a great product. The new design has one good thing; It has L/R marks in the corner so you can easily see which one fits which AirPod. I'm glad I have another fresh pair of the old design because this new design just doesn't make sense. .
