I bought metal frame patio chairs 2 years ago. The metal frame is still in great shape, but the undersides of the seats and backrests are dead. The sun can't read. UV resistance means nothing to the sun. So I decided I was going to get something the sun wouldn't eat in two years. The good thing is that you can use them internally too. I have a huge dining table (in case we have guests) but chairs have been a problem so far. They are lightweight, about the size of dining room chairs, giving me a "set" of 10 chairs. I built a garage bracket that holds all 4 chairs (folded) wall mounted high enough that they are out of the way but easily accessible when needed for a patio or dining area.
