Review on Canon RF70 200Mm F4 USM 4318C002 by Harry Ashcraft

Great lens, a pleasure to use. Two little things don't bother me. #1 You can't use it with an extension, it's not currently in production, same for version 2.8. #2 The hood is a monster, it doesn't have a small door to set your CPL. Details I REALLY care about :) #1 It's SMALL, 1/2 inch longer than the RF 24-105 f4L, same width and a few grams lighter. #2 Most of the weight of the lens comes from the mount, it's comfortable to wear on your wrist :) #3 Focusing is very fast, quiet and clear. #4 It has the same filter size, 77mm filter and lens cap as the RF 24-105, same lens hood mount as the RF 24-105 and I think the same as the RF 70-200 f2.8. #5 My finger is long enough to reach the rotating filter and I do NOT have long fingers :) #6 The lens doesn't rattle when it's off the camera, it doesn't rattle when in use My EF 85 L f1.4 was a rattle in and out of the camera :(#7 It's very sharp. I plan to use it with the Rf 24-105 f4 for event shooting. I have the EF 70 -200 f4 IS through this one replaced and am SO HAPPY In a room with people when I ha When I press to focus half the room stops and turns to face me your chance of being candid goes down Don't hesitate to put it on a tripod with no lens collar As I said in the first line, this lens is a pleasure to use :)
