This straightener heats up quickly, but there are a few things I absolutely dislike.1. Somehow the hair gets caught. I don't know if there can be floating plates that can grab the strands and pull the hair out, but that in itself is a problem for me2. Seen from the side of the closed iron, the plates touch unevenly. This can put uneven pressure on the hair and cause damage3. The temperature increase knob is right where you would normally hold an iron, so I found myself setting the temperature to the maximum (that's 450 degrees!) without knowing it. I was a bit frustrated looking down and seeing 450 when I set the temp to around 360. I do not recommend these iron types. This is my true and honest review.
