I think it's ok for the price. Every edge is razor sharp. My son helped me install it and almost cut himself. I did not order a knife - I ordered a strengthening of the base. The pre-drilled holes will need to be expanded to fit a screw that will hold the backpack in place. Save money and just buy a sheet and cut it yourself. Whether it will fit perfectly - most likely not, but most likely it will still be inlaid for the tour, so no question.
