This helmet has many advantages and disadvantages. I bought this helmet as a cheap alternative to commuting. First, the helmet looks great. stylish but simple. In terms of commuting, it has a lot to offer. Pros: The visor offers an exceptionally wide and high field of vision. No need to look out the porthole. Ventilation is actually quite good, especially given the three front vents. Low speeds of 15-30 mph provide decent airflow to minimize fogging and ensure comfort. The chin bar is roomy, almost to the point where it's too roomy. This gives enough space for the microphone arm when using a communication system like the Sena. A dark visor is included in the purchase price, which is actually dark enough to be used during the day, which means that in low light it is better to have a transparent visor with you because it is too dark there. positive click. The quick-release chin strap is easy to use with gloves on, but the strap itself contains too much extra material and needs to be trimmed. Cons: The vents don't snap into place. They don't move fast, but they don't calm down either. The chin vent has two positions and is easy to operate with gloves on, but the top vents are small and have awkwardly shaped controls that take some getting used to when wearing gloves. The inner pads could be thicker. In general, the quality doesn't look cheap, but that doesn't inspire confidence either. It feels the same as a budget helmet, which unfortunately has minor issues that are easily fixed. The visor locking system feels cheap when changing visors. So she's not perfect. I didn't expect it either. I think based on first impressions it has potential to be a good budget option in a market dominated by expensive helmets. I will update as I wear it as things change for better or worse. Update: The dark visor has a kind of blue cast. Not the end of the world, but not ideal for me. After a month of riding with it, the helmet was no longer quite tight. I contacted ILM and they delivered me a medium sized jet free of charge. Very great customer service.
