Mixed feelings about Deep Purple Mary Janes Morgan and Milo

First let me say that these shoes are just adorable. The deep purple is rich and vibrant, while the Woodstock design is whimsical and fun. My daughter loved wearing it and got a lot of compliments. I have to be honest about the fit though. We ordered her normal size but they were a bit tight and she complained that she was rubbing her heels. We tried loosening the straps but they still didn't feel right. Also, the outsole didn't feel very supportive, causing it to slide on slick surfaces a few times. Overall, while I like the look of these shoes, I'm not sure if they're the most practical option for everyday wear.
