Does exactly what you want. I only have about 55 gallons between the display and the pan and about 12 small fish. It took a few weeks to break in but now this skimmer is perfect for me. It's rated for a 110 gallon setup, but I have a heavier bioload, sometimes overfed and reefroids 2-3 times a week so this can get really messy. But this size seems to work perfectly. If you have a setup like mine and aren't sure if this skimmer is going to be too big, fear not. Eventually, your biological load should catch up. I simply put a ball valve on the skimmer inlet to reduce the air to about 65%, this eliminates the microbubbles immediately even if they are only a few days old. Finally, you can add more air through the ball valve if you feel the load increasing. Also watch the skimmer setup videos if you are having trouble. ;) Have fun skimming!
