Review on 📐 Swingline Paper Trimmer / Cutter: 14" Guillotine with 40 Sheet Capacity and Low Force (98150) by Amber Perez

We have been using this trimmer for about a year now. In the beginning it was great. After a few months we had to tighten the knob on the trimmer to hold it firmly in the up position so we could place paper in the trimming area and then lower the blade. Now we have to tighten the screws on the handle almost every time we use it. I'm frustrated that I have to do this all the time, but it works fine when tightened. Also use a plastic pen holder. I didn't use it at first but the grip with the blade isn't tight, it will go down very very quickly and cut you or anything in its path. (Well, we've been using this trimmer for two years now. It works great but now the plastic screen covering the blade is broken. I called many places to see if I could get a replacement part. Even Swingline has said they don't make aftermarket parts. What now? If you buy one of these trimmers please be careful, let those in charge be careful and definitely do not have this around children.
