Ideal for making thin slices of soft cheese

Cheese wire cutters kept breaking so I decided to give it a try as it has a lot of good reviews. This works pretty well as long as I buy 1lb blocks of cheese. Two pound loaves won't work unless I cut the loaf into smaller pieces. Also, it doesn't pair well with mozzarella cheese or crumbly cheese like well-aged cheddar. Last but not least, it has a blunt blade. Haven't tried sharpening it yet, but it barely cuts through even thin slices and gets stuck on thick ones. Overall, I really like this cheese grater simply because I can buy cheese from the deli and enjoy thin slices without worrying about the wire grater breaking.
