Looking at all the positive reviews online I was pretty sure this was a good product would be, but I wasn't impressed. First, ready to use - minimal assembly. You need to connect the backrest to the base and insert it into the chair cover. I ordered size XL because my husband, who I bought this chair for, is 6ft 1in and needs something wide to be comfortable. But that was just one problem — the back of the chair has no padding, and the metal rod that serves as the back digs into his shoulder. Also, it should be a straight-backed chair, but it won't stay straight when you lean forward to rest. The base is unstable and rises, making it slightly slanted and not straight. This may not be a big deal to others, but I ordered it for meditation purposes and needed a straight back chair. The main issue I had was that when contacting the seller, the seller agreed to take the chair back but would not provide it to me, instead I paid for the return shipping out of my own pocket. I will be careful when buying this chair because if this chair doesn't suit you, you'll pay for the return shipping out of your own pocket, and shipping large and heavy items isn't cheap. I used the cheapest shipping method and it was 1/4 the cost of the chair.
